Terms of sale
What you are buying, what you may do with it, and when money comes back. Written to be read once and understood.
Effective 30 September 2026.
Who you are buying from
The workbooks are sold through Stripe, which acts as merchant of record. Stripe is the seller for the transaction itself: it takes the payment, issues the receipt, and calculates and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST due where you live. Its own terms cover the payment.
The Shared Standard Pte. Ltd., a Singapore private limited company, UEN 202534330H, publishes the workbooks and is who you write to about anything inside them. The terms on this page cover what you buy and what you may do with it.
What you get
A workbook as a PDF, downloaded. Nothing is printed for you and nothing is posted. The price is shown at checkout before you pay, and any tax due in your country is added there.
Your copy is made for you. Your name, your email address and the date of purchase are printed in the footer of every page, and a licence number is recorded against the sale. This is deliberate, and it is the condition on which the workbook is sold. A copy carrying the buyer's details is less likely to be passed around, and if one does circulate the licence number shows where it started. Keeping the file to your own household keeps those details private.
What you may do with it
Buying a workbook buys you the right to use it in one household. You may print it as often as that household needs.
You may not resell it, give it away, share the file, or upload it anywhere, whether publicly or to a group. The workbook stays the copyright of The Shared Standard Pte. Ltd. What you buy is permission to use it, not ownership of the text.
Agencies, organisations, and anyone who needs copies for more than one household: write to [email protected] and we will arrange a licence that fits.
Delivery
When the payment goes through you are sent straight back to this site, to a page with your download on it. Nothing to enter and nothing to wait for.
That link works for 30 days and for up to five downloads, which is enough to move the file from a phone to a computer and to keep a copy safely. Keep it when you get it.
If you lose the link, close the page too soon, or the time runs out, write to [email protected] from the address you paid with and you will be sent a new one. There is no charge for that and no time limit on asking.
Refunds
The workbook is delivered straight away, which changes the usual position on changing your mind. The box you tick at checkout is your agreement to these terms, and with it your request to have the file immediately and your acceptance that you give up the cancellation period that would otherwise apply in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. That is what the law there asks for before a download stops being returnable, and it is why a workbook cannot be sent back once you have it.
Money comes back where something has gone wrong: the file does not arrive, it will not open, or it is not what the page said it was. Write to [email protected], tell us what happened, and it is refunded.
Because Stripe is the seller, Stripe can also refund a purchase itself within 60 days, and applies any cooling off period the law where you live requires. Those rights sit on top of this page rather than being limited by it.
Nothing on this page takes away a right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Your personal data
Buying a workbook means we hold your name and email address, because a copy is made for you and a licence is recorded against it. What is held, for how long, and how to ask us about it is set out on the privacy page.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by Singapore law, and the Singapore courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you protections you cannot sign away, you keep them regardless of this paragraph.
Questions about any of the above go to [email protected].
